ClinixLynx Data Deletion Instructions

For Meta / Facebook App Compliance

Introduction

ClinixLynx (operated by CLXX Animal Health, LLC) ("ClinixLynx," "we," "us," or "our") provides veterinary point-of-care diagnostic equipment, consumables, workflow support, and the ClinixLynx Connect platform to independent veterinary practices.

This page provides instructions on how users can request deletion of their personal data that we may hold in connection with Meta platforms (Facebook and Instagram), including any data obtained through Facebook Login, Meta Pixel, advertising, Page interactions, or any Meta-integrated application or service.

We are committed to complying with Meta’s Platform Terms, applicable privacy laws (including GDPR and CCPA where relevant), and your right to control your personal information.

How to Request Deletion of Your Data

Option 1: Remove the App/Integration via Facebook (Recommended First Step)

If you connected your Facebook or Instagram account to ClinixLynx (for example, via Facebook Login or by interacting with our content/ads):

  1. Go to your Facebook account Settings & Privacy → Settings.
  2. Click Apps and Websites (or search for it).
  3. Find ClinixLynx (or any related integration).
  4. Click Remove and confirm.

This removes ClinixLynx’s access to your Facebook/Instagram data going forward.

Option 2: Submit a Formal Data Deletion Request

To request that we delete any personal data we hold about you (including data linked to Meta interactions):

Subject line: Data Deletion Request - ClinixLynx

Please include in your email:

  • Your full name
  • The email address associated with your ClinixLynx interaction or Facebook/Instagram account
  • Your Facebook or Instagram username / User ID (if known)
  • A brief description of the data or interaction (e.g., “I used Facebook Login for ClinixLynx Connect” or “I submitted an inquiry via your Facebook Page”)
  • Any other details that will help us locate your records

Our Response Process and Timeline

  • We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days.
  • We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity.
  • Upon successful verification, we will delete or anonymize your personal data from our active systems within 30 days (sooner where feasible).
  • We will send you a confirmation email once deletion is complete (or explain any limitations).
  • Where your data has been shared with trusted third-party service providers (e.g., hosting, analytics, payment processors, or PIMS partners), we will request that they also delete the data, subject to their own retention policies.

What Data This Covers

This policy applies to personal data we may have collected or processed in connection with Meta platforms, including but not limited to:

  • Name, email address, business/clinic name, phone number, and role/title
  • Authentication data from Facebook Login (if used)
  • Lead or inquiry information from Meta ads or Page interactions
  • Usage data or preferences linked to your Meta account
  • Any other information you provided while interacting with ClinixLynx via Meta properties

Note: Data you have publicly posted on Facebook or Instagram, or data shared directly with other users, is governed by Meta’s own policies and may not be fully deletable by ClinixLynx.

Limitations and Data We May Retain

We may retain certain information even after a deletion request in the following limited circumstances:

  • Legal or regulatory obligations (including veterinary diagnostic equipment record-keeping requirements)
  • Fraud prevention, security, or dispute resolution
  • Financial, tax, or accounting records required by law
  • Aggregated or de-identified data used for analytics and service improvement (this data no longer identifies you)
  • Backup copies that are automatically overwritten on a rolling schedule
