Reagent Rotor Storage & Handling

Refrigerate upon arrival. Store unopened reagent rotor cartons at 2–8°C (36–46°F).

Upon Receipt

Open your ClinixLynx shipment promptly and place the unopened reagent rotor cartons under refrigeration at 2–8°C (36–46°F). Keep rotors in their original sealed packaging until ready for use.

Storage

  • Store refrigerated at 2–8°C (36–46°F).
  • Protect from direct sunlight.
  • Do not expose rotors to temperatures above 32°C (90°F).
  • Do not use a rotor if the package is damaged or the labeled expiration date has passed.
  • Retain the original carton so lot number and expiration information remain available.

Before Testing

  1. Remove the required rotor from refrigeration.
  2. Keep it sealed while it returns to room temperature.
  3. Allow approximately 20 minutes for temperature equilibration.
  4. Open the package only when ready to run the test.
  5. Use the rotor promptly after opening and follow the product-specific instructions supplied with it.

If Your Shipment Arrives Warm or Delayed

Place the unopened rotor cartons under refrigeration promptly. If the shipment was significantly delayed, appears damaged, or you have concerns about temperature exposure, contact ClinixLynx before using the affected rotors.
