The Electrolyte Plus panel runs a 13-parameter electrolyte, acid-base, and metabolic profile from a single whole-blood, serum, or plasma sample on the Seamaty QT3 (SMT-120VP) analyzer — the only disc in the menu to combine blood pH, the full electrolyte set, magnesium, lactate, and renal values in one run for critical-care, fluid-therapy, and dehydration cases.
What this disc measures
13 parameters — 12 directly measured analytes plus 1 calculated index — grouped by system:
- Electrolytes: sodium (Na⁺), potassium (K⁺), chloride (Cl⁻), magnesium (Mg)
- Acid-base: blood pH, total CO₂/bicarbonate (tCO₂)
- Minerals: calcium (Ca), phosphorus (PHOS)
- Metabolic: glucose (GLU), lactate (LAC)
- Kidney & renal: blood urea nitrogen (BUN), creatinine (CREA), BUN/creatinine ratio*
*The BUN/creatinine ratio is derived automatically and reported with the panel.
