The Electrolyte Test is a 5-parameter electrolyte and mineral sector disc for the Seamaty QT3 (SMT-120VP) analyzer — a compact, economical electrolyte check for fluid-therapy and dehydration monitoring. The sector format lets you run up to three different sector discs together to build a custom mini-panel from a single sample.
What this disc measures
5 parameters plus the calculated sodium/potassium (Na/K) ratio:
- Electrolytes: sodium (Na⁺), potassium (K⁺), chloride (Cl⁻)
- Minerals: calcium (Ca), phosphorus (PHOS)
- Calculated: sodium/potassium (Na/K) ratio
How it compares
IDEXX Catalyst runs sodium, potassium, and chloride on the Lyte 4 CLIP, with calcium and phosphorus as separate slides. VetScan's Electrolyte Plus rotor covers sodium, potassium, chloride, and total CO₂ but not calcium or phosphorus. Heska/Antech uses an ISE electrolyte slide plus calcium and phosphorus slides. This disc puts electrolytes plus both minerals on one sector.
